Why we've taken the initiative

It is our social commitment to share some of our knowledge and experience with fresh graduates through a free training program that helps them build awareness of localization industry and start their professional career. we are also looking for energetic and committed candidates who are able to achieve exceptional results and be a great addition to our team.

Localization is a term that has been widely used to describe a whole package of language services that goes beyond mere translation. The program is especially designed to meet the needs of fresh graduates eager to join the localization industry but lacking the necessary experience. We introduce them to the international localization market and make them aware of challenges they are likely to face when getting started.

The course is made of six sessions each addressing one of the essential skills a junior localizer needs to develop. A brief account is given about the concept of localization, CAT tools, quality management, search skills, translation techniques and common language mistakes. By the end of the program, trainees shall be ready to assume their jobs, equipped with the necessary skills, and ready to build their own successful careers by means of hands-on experience.

By the end of the program, trainees with top scores are interviewed for their potential positions. Accepted candidates proceed to a probation period to embark on their new jobs at Lingo Soft.
